About FansRevD & Methodology

Last updated: June 28, 2026

What We're Building

FansRevD is a place for sports fans to rate and review matches — the same way you'd rate a movie on Letterboxd or IMDb. Final score, controversial referee call, last-minute comeback: every match has a story, and we think fans should be able to rate and talk about it.

We're starting small and focused: our trial launch covers World Cup 2026 football matches and IPL 2026 cricket matches only. If it resonates, we'll expand to more sports and tournaments.

Why We Built This

Sports media tells you the score. It doesn't always tell you whether the match was actually good — tense, dramatic, a classic. FansRevD lets the people who actually watched decide that, match by match, the same way film fans decide whether a movie was worth the hype.

How Ratings Work

  • Every match can be rated on a 1.0 to 10.0 scale, in increments of 0.1, so you can be as precise as you want.
  • Ratings come with optional vibe-labels (like "Thrilling" or "Forgettable") to make scoring feel intuitive rather than clinical.
  • You can also leave a short written review (up to 300 characters) explaining your rating.
  • Each user can rate a given match once. You can update your rating and review any time — we'll always show your latest take.
  • The match's overall score shown on FansRevD is the average of all user ratings for that match. There is no weighting, no algorithmic adjustment, and no editorial override — it's a simple, transparent average of real fan opinions.

What We Don't Do

  • We don't predict outcomes, offer betting odds, or provide gambling-related content of any kind.
  • We don't rate teams, players, or seasons — only individual matches.
  • We don't editorialize. The platform reflects what users say, not what we think.

Who's Behind FansRevD

FansRevD is an independently built, fan-made project — not affiliated with any sports league, federation, or governing body. See our Disclaimers page for the full details on this.

What's Next

We're actively building out the platform — including tournament hubs, athlete and team pages, and expanded sport coverage. Have an idea or found a bug? We'd love to hear from you at support@fansrevd.live.
