Terms of Service

Welcome to FansRevD ("FansRevD," "we," "us," or "our"). These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of fansrevd.live and any related services (collectively, the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. What FansRevD Is

FansRevD is a platform where users can rate and review sports matches on a 1–10 scale, with optional written reviews. During the trial phase, the Service covers World Cup 2026 football matches and IPL 2026 cricket matches only. FansRevD is a fan-made community platform. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by any sports league, federation, governing body, team, or player. See our Disclaimers page for details.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use FansRevD. By using the Service, you represent that you meet this requirement. We do not knowingly permit use of the Service by anyone under 18, consistent with India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, which defines a "child" as anyone under 18 and requires verifiable parental consent before processing a child's personal data — a process we do not currently support.

3. Your Account

  • You must sign in using Google OAuth. We do not support separate username/password accounts.
  • You are responsible for all activity on your account.
  • You agree to provide accurate information and to keep your account secure.
  • One account per person. Creating multiple accounts to manipulate ratings, evade a suspension, or otherwise abuse the Service is prohibited.

4. Your Content and the License You Grant Us

When you submit a rating, review, or other content ("User Content"), you retain ownership of it. However, by posting User Content on FansRevD, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free, sublicensable, and transferable license to host, store, reproduce, display, distribute, adapt (e.g., for formatting or excerpting), and promote that User Content — including using excerpts of your reviews in marketing materials, social media posts, and promotional content for FansRevD — for as long as your content remains on the Service, and for a reasonable period afterward solely to the extent needed for legitimate business records, backups, or legal compliance.

This license lets us operate and grow FansRevD (for example, featuring a great review on our social media or homepage). It does not transfer ownership of your content to us, and you can request deletion of your content as described in Section 9 and our Privacy Policy.

You represent that:

  • Your User Content is your own original work, or you have the right to post it.
  • Your User Content does not infringe any third party's copyright, trademark, privacy, or other rights.
  • Your User Content complies with our Community Guidelines.

5. Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to:

  • Post defamatory, harassing, threatening, hateful, obscene, or abusive content.
  • Impersonate any person or entity, including players, teams, or officials.
  • Post spam, advertising, or unrelated promotional content.
  • Attempt to manipulate match ratings through fake accounts, bots, or coordinated inauthentic behavior.
  • Upload or link to malicious code, or attempt to interfere with the Service's operation or security.
  • Scrape, harvest, or systematically extract data from the Service without our written permission.
  • Use the Service to promote, facilitate, or encourage betting, gambling, or wagering of any kind.
  • Violate any applicable law, including India's Information Technology Act, 2000 and rules made thereunder.

6. Content Moderation and Removal

We reserve the right, but do not assume the obligation, to review, moderate, edit, or remove any User Content at our discretion, including content that violates these Terms, our Community Guidelines, or applicable law. We may suspend or terminate accounts that repeatedly or seriously violate these Terms.

7. Intellectual Property

The FansRevD name, logo, design, and platform (excluding User Content and any third-party trademarks referenced for identification purposes) are owned by us or our licensors and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, or create derivative works of the Service without our written permission.

Team names, competition names, player names, and country flags appearing on the Service are used solely for factual identification and commentary purposes. We do not use official league logos, team crests, or other federation marks. See our Disclaimers page for more detail.

8. No Affiliation, No Betting

FansRevD is an independent, fan-made platform. We are not affiliated with any international football governing body, the BCCI, the IPL, any football or cricket governing body, or any team or league. FansRevD does not support, facilitate, or endorse betting or gambling in any form, and nothing on the Service should be construed as betting advice or a betting service.

9. Account Deletion

You may request deletion of your account at any time through your account settings. Upon deletion request, your account will be deactivated and hidden from other users. You have 30 days to sign back in and restore your account. After 30 days, your account and associated ratings will be permanently deleted, subject to any retention required by law (see Privacy Policy).

10. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT GUARANTEE THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, SECURE, OR ERROR-FREE.

Reviews and ratings on FansRevD reflect the personal opinions of individual users, not the views of FansRevD. We do not verify, endorse, or take responsibility for the accuracy of User Content.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, FANSREVD AND ITS OPERATORS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, PROFITS, OR GOODWILL, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless FansRevD and its operators from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your use of the Service, your User Content, or your violation of these Terms.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will post the updated Terms with a new "Last updated" date. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. For material changes, we will make reasonable efforts to notify users in advance.

13. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, with or without notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is otherwise harmful to the Service or other users.

14. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any disputes arising from these Terms or the Service will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in New Delhi, India.
